Guest-Blogger Post: THE CHOOK

Imagine if  you had just one day, one day where you were in your same form, but underwater. What would you do and what would you wear?

Think about a poetic response rather than practical.

This first clothing item that I thought of was this wonderful lace dress which I haven't had the courage to wear outside (without water) yet. It's sheer, but not completely, I imagine people underwater would be closer to the naked form than we are up here in the cement world. I also image the way the lace would sway in the waves, or float quietly behind the body while swimming would be quite delicate and beautiful.  The absolute must for jewlery would be my beautiful Nallik crystal necklace, which I believe is both mysterious and strengthening – and therefore seems to suit an  underwater life

Saturday Night Love

Loving and wanting to be wearing these handmade pieces by Olive Yew Jewels. Just waiting to see if the gold vermeil has any traces of nickel... and if not I think, I may have to own at least one item. Thought I'd share the beauty of them.

Hope not too many of you are stuck behind your computers tonight! (And if you are, hope this post brings some joy or inspiration to your night).

MBFWA

Michael Lo Sordo
Loved doing the Michael Lo Sordo MBFWA show last week! Was completely mesmerised by jewllery designer Venice, and her lovely work that was collaborated into the show.
